Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing goods, services, events, or items from the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science – Missouri (“ASCLS-MO”). We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us subject to this policy. This policy outlines how we will handle and process refunds and similarly related requests.

Conferences and Events

All conferences, meetings, events, conventions, seminars, webinars, classes, virtual activities, meals, happy hours, meet-ups, or other related types of activities (“Conference”) will be governed by this and other policies of ASCLS-MO. All refunds, cancellations, and substitutions will be handled as documented in the ASCLS-MO Event and Conference Terms and Conditions.

Physical Goods or Items

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, in all of its original packaging, and approved in writing in advance by ASCLS-MO. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start the request for a return, you can send the ASCLS-MO team an email at admin@asclsmo.org. Please note that all refunds must be sent to the following address, with shipping and handling covered by you.

ASCLS-MO will not be liable or responsible for any shipping or handling charges that you may incur as part of the return process. ASCLS-MO is further not liable or responsible for poor packing or any issues, damages to the package(s), delays, or non-deliveries that may occur with your return package.

ASCLS-MO reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine if they will accept any returns of purchased physical goods or items. All decisions made by ASCLS-MO are final. If ASCLS-MO accepts your return, we will send you an approval email to the address used for the purchase. Items sent back to ASCLS-MO without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not the United States, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

 Damages and Issues

For physical goods and items, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we may evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 Exchanges

ASCLS-MO’s standard approach is not to accept exchanges for purchased physical goods and items. All exchanges are subject to the Physical Goods and Items Return Policy as listed herein. Please note: the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 3-Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding anything else in this policy, if physical goods or items are being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within three (3) days for any reason and without justification. As mentioned in this policy, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in all its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Should this situation apply to you, please get in touch with the ASCLS-MO team at admin@asclsmo.org to have someone assist you.

 Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return for physical goods and items to let you know if the refund was approved. You will be refunded to your original payment method within sixty (60) business days if approved. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than thirty (30) business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at admin@asclsmo.org.

All refunds, cancellations, and substitutions for Conferences will be handled as documented in the ASCLS-MO Event and Conference Terms and Conditions.
